Do you have work in my area?
The Mullen Group has multiple companies operating in various locations in Canada. From the Mullen Group Career Opportunities page, click on Search Our Career Opportunities and you will see a listing of all positions. From this page, you will be able to sort open positions by province.
What are your wage rates?
Each of the Mullen Group companies maintains individual pay scales. If wage information is not posted on open positions, please use the contact information provided to get the job-specific wage information.
Are there transfer opportunities among mullen group companies?
Yes, the Mullen Group supports growth opportunities for its employees and managers. Each company within the Mullen Group looks to hire the most qualified individual for open positions. Special attention and consideration are given to employees already within the group.
Do you hire inexperienced class 1 drivers?
Some of our companies have opportunities for inexperienced Class 1 drivers. For Oilfield Services companies, this may require further driver training and/or job shadowing with more experienced drivers. For Trucking/Logistics Services companies, graduates of the Red Deer College Truck Driver Training are strongly considered.
Is on-the-job training provided?
Yes, all of our companies provide pre- and post-job training. The extent and duration of the training are dependant upon the position.
Are there opportunities for apprenticing in heavy-duty mechanic or welder positions?
Yes, many of our companies hire apprentice mechanics and welders. If there are no current openings, you may leave your resume on-line for future opportunities. To leave your resume, return to the Mullen Group Career Opportunities page, click on Search Our Careers Opportunities, then click on the Create or Update Your Profile link. To create your profile and leave your resume, you will be provided with a Privacy Statement which you must agree to in order to access the login page. In order to log-in, you will need to create a user name and password and enter your email address. Then you will be asked to provide some specific information: name, address, telephone numbers, etc. Once you have completed this log-on, you may attach your resume. Having created your own user profile, you may use the system to be notified automatically of future positions, to log-in at any time to browse and to access your user information for updates.
Where can I find a listing of all open positions?
From the Mullen Group Career Opportunities page, click on Search Our Career Opportunities which will take you to our web page that displays all current opportunities. From this page, you will be able to sort by province and job types or simply view all. Note: You will be required to read our Privacy Agreement which you must agree to in order to access the log-in page.
How do I apply for a position that interests me?
Select the position for which you would like to apply and then click “Apply Online”. From here you will need to log in as a new user or returning user (if you have previously logged in to our system). If you are a new user, you will be asked to create your own user name and password as well as some general information. Once you have completed these steps, you will be able to attach your resume and/or fill in the online application for submission.
Currently, there are no positions open that match my interests. Am I able to leave my resume for future opportunities?

How are the mullen group open positions defined?
Due to the diversity of positions and geographical locations of the Mullen Group companies, current job openings can be sorted by province, areas within province areas, i.e., North, Central, South, and by type of position, i.e., office, yard, shop, truck driving, etc. When you have accessed the Search Our Career Opportunities from the Career Opportunities page, you will be able to view all sorting options by clicking on the Show Advanced Search and following the prompts.

Mullen Group and Your Personal Information
If you wish to apply for a position at Mullen Group we will need to know some information about you. Much of this information will consist of your personal information and will include such items as your name, address, e-mail address, work history, educational history, references, credentials and the types of positions you are interested in. As well, during any interview process, you may be asked questions and your responses may reveal additional personal information.
All of this personal information will be used as part of our recruitment process in making a decision on whether or not to make an offer of employment to you. As well, we will use your contact information to inform you of our hiring decision, to ask for further information and to contact you to let you know of other potential opportunities, including opportunities at Mullen Group’s business units and related companies.
We will restrict access to this personal information within Mullen Group to our human resources and recruitment personnel within the business unit that has the job opening. If the job opportunity is with one of Mullen Group’s business units or related companies, then your personal information will be disclosed to that business unit or related company (and to their human resources and recruitment personnel within the relevant business unit) for the sole purpose of their consideration of your potential employment.
If you provide any references we may contact those references without any further notice to you. We will assume that in providing those references, you have consented to us contacting them. In contacting those references we may collect additional personal information about you as it may relate to your potential employment at Mullen Group.
We will not contact your current employer without your consent unless you have listed someone at your current employer as a reference. In contacting any previous employer we may collect additional personal information about you as it may relate to your potential employment at Mullen Group.
We will keep any personal information relating to your interest in employment at Mullen Group for a period of six months and, subject to any pre-existing legal requirements, we will then delete the information. If you want this information deleted before then or if you do not want us to contact you about other potential opportunities, let us know by e-mail to Human Resources.
